SEO Audit

Understand what’s holding your website back and which changes deserve your attention. We review your site, explain the findings and help you decide what to work on first.

Good SEO starts with understanding

When your website isn’t performing as you’d hoped, it’s easy to add more content or start fixing every warning in an SEO report. Knowing which changes deserve your time and budget takes a closer look.

We start with what your business offers, who you want to reach, and what visitors need to do next. That helps us separate the issues worth addressing now from improvements that can wait.

Where a recommendation needs more research, we’ll explain why.

  • In-depth technical analysis
  • Keyword and search-demand research
  • Competitor analysis
  • Content and website structure review
  • Keyword mapping and content priorities
  • An implementation roadmap and review call

Essentials focuses on your website’s main issues and a selection of important pages. For an unusually large or complex site, we’ll explain any suggested change to scope or price and agree it with you before we start. The comprehensive audit allows for deeper keyword research, competitor analysis and content planning. Implementation can be arranged separately.

SEO Audit Essentials: what’s included

A focused review to help you understand your website’s main SEO issues before deciding on further work.

  • Technical SEO checks: the main issues affecting whether search engines can crawl and index your pages, including broken links, redirects and conflicting page signals.
  • Speed and mobile usability: a review of your homepage and selected key page types to identify loading and usability problems.
  • Key page review: titles, headings, content focus, clarity and calls to action on a selection of your most important pages.
  • Structure and internal links: how easily visitors and search engines can reach your important pages.
  • Search performance overview, where data is available: key pages, search queries, visibility trends and indexing issues using your existing Search Console data.
  • Written findings and a 60-minute consultation: priorities, examples and recommended next steps, discussed together.

You’ll know what to improve first and which questions need a closer look before you invest in larger changes.

Comprehensive SEO Audit: scope and deliverables

A deeper review for decisions that need more research: where to focus ongoing SEO work, what content to create, or how to improve your website’s structure.

We agree the scope around your website, market and goals. It can include:

  • In-depth technical analysis: investigate issues across relevant page types and explain what needs to change.
  • Keyword and search-demand research: identify relevant searches and connect them to your services and business priorities.
  • Competitor analysis: examine how competing websites answer customer searches and where yours has opportunities.
  • Content and website structure: review existing pages, overlapping topics, missing information and opportunities for new pages.
  • Keyword mapping and content priorities: decide which pages should address which searches, and what to create or update.
  • An implementation roadmap and review call: agree a sensible order of work, including what needs to happen first and who needs to be involved.

You’ll receive a plan supported by the research behind it. We agree the scope and price before work begins.

Start small and build on the work

You can put your Essentials fee toward a comprehensive audit. We’ll confirm the upgrade terms before you book Essentials.

You can also put the Essentials findings straight to work. A larger audit is only needed if your next project calls for deeper research.

How the audit works

1. Send your website address

Share your website and a few words about what you’d like to improve. For Essentials, we’ll make a quick check of the site so we can get started without a lengthy briefing or introductory meeting. For a comprehensive audit, we’ll agree the scope and quote first.

2. We review your website

We investigate the areas covered by your package, using existing search data where available. We check what the findings mean for your website and business before recommending changes.

3. We work through the priorities

You receive the written findings, and we discuss them on a call. We’ll go through what to address first, what can wait and anything that needs further investigation.

4. You choose how to move forward

Use the findings with your own team or developer, or ask us to help with the next stage. Any additional research or implementation is scoped and priced before it starts.

Work directly with the person reviewing your website

Understand the recommendations

We’ll explain what each important finding means for your site and why it deserves attention. You can ask about the thinking behind the advice.

Get started without a long briefing

Your website address and a short description of your goals are enough to begin. If a different approach would suit your site better, we’ll explain the options.

Talk through the findings

The consultation gives you time to ask questions and decide what to do next. You can use the findings independently or continue working with us.

Frequently asked questions

Which SEO audit should I choose?

Essentials is a good starting point if you want to understand your website’s main SEO issues and what to fix first. Choose a comprehensive audit when you need keyword research, a wider content plan or a more detailed basis for ongoing SEO work. If you’re unsure, send us your website and goals, and we’ll recommend a suitable scope.

Do you need access to Google Search Console or Analytics?

Search Console access is helpful for reviewing your search performance and indexing information. Essentials can go ahead without it, using publicly available information. We’ll make clear what we can assess and where the missing data limits the review. Analytics access is optional for Essentials, and website administration or hosting access isn’t normally needed for the initial review.

What will I receive?

Essentials includes written findings, prioritized recommendations and a 60-minute consultation. A comprehensive audit includes the analysis and planning outputs agreed in your proposal, plus a call to discuss the results.

Does the audit include fixes?

Implementation is quoted separately. The audit explains the issues and recommended actions, so you can take the findings to your own team or ask us to help implement or coordinate the work with a developer.

Will I need another audit before we can work together?

Not automatically. We build on the work already done, and some improvements can start straight away. A larger project, such as a wider content plan, may need additional keyword or audience research. We’ll explain what’s needed and agree the cost before that work starts.

Can I upgrade from Essentials to a comprehensive audit?

Yes. You can put your Essentials fee toward a comprehensive audit under the upgrade terms confirmed before you book Essentials. We’ll reuse the relevant findings and agree what additional analysis is needed.

Is Essentials suitable for a large or multilingual website?

It can be. Several languages or a large number of pages don’t automatically rule it out. Essentials focuses on the main technical patterns and a selection of important pages. If the site’s size or complexity calls for a different scope or price, we’ll agree that before starting.

Can I use the findings with another developer or SEO provider?

Yes. The audit is a standalone service. You can use the findings with your own team or another provider without committing to ongoing work with OroSEO.

Put the findings to work

Depending on what the audit reveals, your next step might be:

  • Technical SEO: resolve technical issues with your developer or an appropriate development partner.
  • SEO Copywriting: improve existing pages or create content around agreed priorities.
  • SEO for AI: review how clearly your website presents your business and expertise for AI search.
